As you likely figured out by now, Bear Music Fest isn't just a music festival. It's a weekend summer camp retreat. Whether you are experiencing the outdoors for the first time, reliving your childhood camp days with old friends, or bringing the whole family for an unplugged turnkey vacation - time spent at the Lair is magical!

The Lair

The Lair isn’t just one place—it’s a mountain playground made up of three interconnected camps: Blue, Gold, and Oski. Each has its own vibe—Blue for adults, Gold for families, Oski for groups—but they’re all within walking distance, and all filled with music and good times throughout the weekend.

Accomodations & Meals

Small Cabins

Perfect for 1–2 campers, these snug cabins are your festival retreat. Like all cabins, they come with twin beds, a shelf, an overhead light, and a power outlet. Small cabins are set up for two campers; if you’re booking solo, a cabin fee applies. Smalls go fast during pre-booking—grab yours early!

Medium Cabins

Designed for 3–4 campers, these cabins are roomy and comfy, with twin beds, a shelf, overhead light, and power outlet. Fewer than 3 or want a little more space? Just pay a cabin fee. See our FAQ page for more cabin fee info.

Large Cabins

For 5–6 campers, these spacious cabins come with twin beds, a shelf, overhead light, and power outlet. Groups under 5 can still book with a cabin fee. See our FAQ page for cabin fee info.

Oski Cabin Circle

Looking for a way to keep your entire group together? Oski’s Cabin Circles offer a cluster of mostly large cabins arranged around a shared fire pit. Ideal for big family gatherings or groups of friends who want to camp side by side while enjoying the festival weekend.

Oski Bosch Hall

For a simpler stay indoors, our Bosch Hall accommodations offer small, motel-style rooms with a front door and nearby shared bathrooms. Limited availability, so book early!

Oski Winterized

Winterized cabins sleep up to 6 with a queen bed, bunk bed, and loft with two single beds. Each heated cabin comes with a private bathroom, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and even a TV/DVD player. ADA-accessible options available.

Clean Shared Bathrooms

Bathroom buildings are close to most cabins, cleaned regularly, and well-lit for nighttime trips. They’ve got the classic camp vibe but are updated for comfort and cleanliness, with multiple sinks and toilets so there’s never a long wait.

Toiletry Storage Available

Don’t want to lug your toiletries back and forth? Each bathroom has a shelf for your cabin’s toiletries, or just keep them in your cabin—whatever works for you! Remember to bring shower shoes and towels.

Clean and modern showers

Nothing beats a hot shower after a day of music-festing! Shower buildings across camp feature changing areas, hooks for towels and clothes, and reliable water pressure and temperature. They’re open for early birds and night owls alike.

Amazing Hiking Trails

Explore scenic mountain paths winding through towering trees between musical performances. These trails offer peaceful nature breaks that festival-goers consistently rate as essential to their complete BMF experience.

Pool & Hot Tub

Whether you’re cooling off with a dip, soaking in the hot tub, or letting the kids swim out some energy, the pool area is the perfect place to relax. We even set up a stage by the pool for special performances, so you can enjoy the music while lounging waterside..

Pinecrest Lake

Just minutes away, Pinecrest Lake offers kayaking, canoeing, and swimming in crystal-clear mountain waters. This natural playground provides the perfect mid-day adventure between morning and evening shows.

Courts, Fields, & Game Tables

The Lair is packed with classic summer camp activities—think tennis, basketball, softball, table tennis, and more. These fun extras are all part of the BMF experience, offering plenty of ways to play and unwind.

Roam Tent Stomp!

Tent Stomp is a new BMF tradition where festival-goers take the stage—or rather, the cabin! Attendees volunteer to perform unplugged sets at their own or another camper’s cabin, creating intimate mini-concerts across the festival grounds. Guests move from cabin to cabin to catch performances.

Family Music Workshops

Over the weekend, a few of our artists will host fun, interactive workshops open to all ages. From dance and rap to songwriting, percussion, and more, these workshops are a chance to learn, play, and create together. Kids especially love these events, but there’s something for everyone!

Welcome BBQ

Friday afternoon kicks off with a poolside BBQ to welcome everyone in. There’s grilled favorites for the meat lovers, plus plenty of delicious vegan and vegetarian options to go around.

Saturday Tacos

Saturday night means tacos—served up by BMF favorite, Sonora Tacos. With options for vegetarians and other dietary needs, there’s something tasty for everyone at the table.

Pizza Pool Party

Sunday wraps with a goodbye pool party, where we serve up freshly baked pizzas poolside. It’s the perfect way to soak up the last vibes of the weekend.

Breakfast

Your all-inclusive festival experience starts with a hearty breakfast served in our buffet-style dining halls, with options to suit every dietary need. Grab a seat at a shared table and start your day alongside fellow fest-goers and the occasional artist.

Lunch

Lunch is served buffet-style, giving you a midday break to refuel and recharge. It’s a casual, come-as-you-are vibe—plenty of options, plenty of sunshine, and plenty of good company.

Late Night Eats

When the music’s still going and dinner feels like a distant memory, we roll out Late Night Eats. Think burgers, fries, crispy veggies, and other fuel-for-the-dance-floor snacks—served hot when you need them most.

Camp Gold

Family-friendly, Peaceful, and Still Close to Everything.

Gold is a great option for families or anyone who wants to call it a night a little earlier. It’s quieter in the evenings but still just a short walk to all the music and meals. The vibe is relaxed, warm, and welcoming—perfect for early risers and kiddos.

Tucked Away, Group-Friendly, and a Little Extra Cozy

Set further from the buzz of the main festival, Oski offers a slower pace and more space. It’s a great fit for big friend groups or multi-family crews. Tent cabins here are arranged in circles around campfire pits, creating a natural hangout zone that feels like your own little village. Plus, Oski is the only camp with the option of upgraded, winterized cabins for those who want a bit more comfort.
