If so, you may already have a Lair account and are familiar with the process. Proceed to the Lair Booking website and use your existing Lair Account login. (You can create a new account if you don't have one already.)

The Lair Reservation page can be a little confusing to new users. We are happy to help! Use our simplified booking form to initiate your reservation. We will then create a Lair account for you and walk you through completing your reservation.

Taxes and fees
- California State Sales Tax: 1.6% of reservation fee
- Tuolumne County Transient Occupancy Tax: 3% of reservation fee
- A $12/day/camper Fire Assessment Fee
Cancelations
- Reservations are fully refundable until March 1, 2025.
- After March 1 2025, reservations are transferrable but not refundable.
- We recommend that you purchase trip insurance to cover any potential cancelations (More info below)
- Final payments are due May 1, 2025.
- Final payments not received by May 1, 2025 are subject to cancellation.
- The Lair and/or BMF reserve the right to deduction transaction fees from any refunded payments.
Trip Insurance
As a service, we are providing information from Meyer and Associates, a partner of the Lair of the Golden Bear and Cal Alumni Association, as they are offering two travel insurance plans through Travel Insured International (TII) as options to consider as you search.
Both options include a variety of benefits, yet no policy can insure against every risk. Please be aware of the time-sensitive material, as each policy offers slightly different coverage and benefits. Some features, such as the pre-existing condition waiver, are provided only if you apply within 21 days from the date of your tent confirmation (for campers submitting booking requests before February 28, the date of confirmation is March 16 and will be communicated via email to campers who booked this summer).
